Default Update:Gas smell in car after swerving hard to miss a car.

An idiot ran a red light, so I had to swerve hard to the left to miss him. Now I have a gas smell in my car at idle. I also noticed it when I filled up this morning, strong gas smell in the car.

Last year I replaced the roll over valve, Actuator above the fuel tank and the fuel tank filler hose.

I am going to check out the fuel filler hose since the smell was worse when I filled up. But I never had a problem at idle with the smell with the filler hose.

Anything else to check out when I am under there?

Well I was at a stop light and I pushed my vent button to fresh air. I had the gas smell come in to my car. I put it to recirculate and no gas smell. So I figured my gas leak/smell was coming from the engine bay. I sniffed around and noticed a gas smell on the drivers side. I took the engine cover off and low and behold I had a broken vacuum line. It appears it was the gas vent return line, were the gaseous air, goes back to tank. Replaced the hose and no more gas smell. I will post a picture of which line it was for future reference.
