Default Hey guys! I need some advice/suggestions for my GS300!

Hey guys, so I currently have a 2001 GS300 with 219k miles on it. It's running pretty well though. I've always wanted to throw in some air suspension/do a bunch of mods on my car but I feel like my car has too many miles to be throwing something like that in. What do you guys think?

It depends on which way you are looking to go with the car. If strictly for show, then miles don't matter. If you are looking for performance and want to use the original engine without doing a teardown/rebuild, miles matter very much.

^ Since you're young and in college, I'd say don't waste the $$$$. Now if you're more financially established, own your own home, have a good job, etc that's a bit different. I had a nice car in college, but I never did get the mod bug real hard, mainly because I wanted to save my $$$$ for other things(down payment on a house being the big one)

Don't do air suspension!

Go to the classified section - pickup some used coilovers or nice set of springs/shocks. Then try to find some used TRD sway bars. Also updating bushings would be recommended.

These simple and fairly cheap mods will transform how the car handles and will look much better lowered.

^also this.

Mods=Money. As a college kid, you already have a nice car. Just enjoy it. Trade up when you graduate, then mod.

I agree with the guys here I had 2 gs300 and a 2014 accord when I was in college and I didn't modify them much because u need the money when you are in college. I was blessed to have the accord because it was my daily and all I needed to do was put gas and it saved on gas as compared to the gs which is pretty thirsty. Lower the gs put a set of real wheels and save the rest for maintenance especially suspension components

if u need help with maintenance hit me up or other guys on the forum we can help u out
also check out my ig monsieur_artb I import jdm wheels and gs parts from Japan if u are interested local pick up or shipping is available
