Removing/installing sunroof liner 97-05 GS
My interior guy left me a half finish interior and disappeared with 6 of my interior panels. This is part of my DIY project putting the interior back together. Couldnt find a thread that showed this part so after 4 hours of figuring it out this is the process.
Tools : deep 10mm socket - Phillips screw driver - an extra hand
PS. This is only a guide for the sun roof liner after you remover all the other panels
Step 1. Remove entire sunroof mechanism
Step 2. Locate the track the roof liner sits you have to remove 5 screws to allow the liner to slide right out
Step 3. The 5 screws you will need a philips screw driver...remove screws on the passenger and drived side of the roof liner
Step 4. Locate and remove the bracket
Another picture of the 5 screws
Step 5. Slide the sunroof liner all the way out. Do thd this process in reverse to replace.
Sun roof liner outside the track.

you dont have to remove all those screws to get it out IIRC the 3 times i have done it, i have removed 3 screws total but i could be mistaken some. i didnt have to take the arms off though....also you should have just added this DIY to the original DIY which the OP didnt show this part
