i agree if the person is asking 4 an opinion than we should give our honest opinion. remember not everyone here is a young guy , we have many women and older cats here that have different taste..

i personally don't like cf stuff, i stated my opinion which was asked 4 but yet i still said that the cf hood that 400DGRZ posted did actually look good 2 me.. thats my opinion....

I think that CF hoods would look nice if painted. I think the CF hood thats painted looks pretty good. Or mayb a silver clear coat for a silver car or a blue clear coat for a blue car...I've seen it on a TL-S and i thought it looked pretty good...but thats juss my 2 cents.

 

I dont know about you guys but $3200 isnt my entire wad, otherwise I wouldnt own a Lexus

my bad if i hurt your feeling.... that was kinda harsh. i was joking anyways.... i totally go w/ the "to each his own" moto... mods are all about personalizing. some people crack on my for not having a spoiler. well, i don't want a spoiler, so how about that?!

however, i do have to say, you could get much better performance gains for 2.2Gs than from a CF hood. that is usually left to the end (is there an end?) of modding a car when you are talking about 10ths and 100s of a second time difference...

If it's a true CF hood and it saves weight, then it ISN'T rice, duh!

Rice is something added to a car that either hurts or doesn't improve performance (IE heavy wing on a FF car), or claiming mods on the car that aren't there (VTEC Eclipses)

No hurt feelings here. Im not even the one that is interested in that hood. I personally myself dont like it and I wanted to get peoples opinions on the hood. But I was interested in constructive criticism. Almost every thread I go into there is someone making some comment that is inappropriate and I feel that it brings down the whole site. Everyone has their own opinions on what they like and what they dont like. There are good ways to get that across and then there are the other ways to get that across. Im not saying we all need to hold hands and hug just that we could try to be a bit less negative.
