Question about Borla exhaust tips
Hi everyone.
So I want some new exhaust tips for my GS300. I searched around the whole forum and I really like the Borla exhaust tips that people have. They all say it's the Borla #20155. I want to order the exact same tips from Borla, but I'm stuck with something.
I only want to bolt them on, so no welding. The #20155 have an inlet of 2.5", and I've read that our exhaust has an inlet of 2.25". Does that mean that the #20155 won't fit on the stock GS exhaust? They all come with a clamp included. I've searched around the whole forum but I really can't figure this out. In case the #20155 is too big for the exhaust even with the clamp, is it possible to attach another clamp on the exhaust tip so it will still fit?
Here is a link to the tips I want to buy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Borla-20155-...5WZebR&vxp=mtr
Thanks a lot for your help!
Kind regards,
GS300freak

I searched "Borla 20155" in this forum and the third result appears to have your answer; No, they will not fit. Can they be modified to fit? Yes, of course. You can probably cut another slot allowing the clamp to tighten down more. Or add a spacer using exhaust pipe from an auto parts store.
