GS300 shifter mechanism - moving freely but stick in reverse
Hey guys,
Got a problem with the shift mechanism in my GS. Over the past 6 months or so, the shift mechanism has been getting worse and worse. Initially it would not shift into '4' from lower gears, but going from 'd' to '4'. In the past few weeks it's been a little bit hard to get into park. Last night it wouldn't shift into 1, and tonight I parked in reverse, and then it stayed in reverse. The shifter would freely move, but the indicator on the cluster just says 'R'.
Any ideas?
