LS430Lexus

I acquired a 02 GS300 for my son and changed the oil at 85k. The manual said capacity was 5.4 quarts but it took 6 quarts to get it up to fill line. I may have mistaken liters for quarts but I am pretty sure it said 5.4 quarts. I am curious how many quarts you guys use to fill it.

By the way, this is not uncommon for Lexus. Both of my LS430's have had this issue. Essentially requiring a half quart more than the manual indicated to fill the crank case. Thank you.

i just put in a 5 quart jug, dip stick reads in the middle, not below or over i'm good
