Default '03 GS 300 Sport Design Fog Lamps

My '03 GS 300 Sport Design car was recently hit in the right front. Repairs seemingly went well; even a good paint match for this 14-yr old car. One glitch: The original fog lamps were yellow but dealer today says there's no option for a yellow fog lamp for this car. The yellow lamps were probably part of the Sport Design package. Exam of the remaining lamp show the 'yellow' comes via a sleeve that seems to be affixed to the interior of the lamp --the replaceable bulb fits into it. Short of just going with 2 white lamps, wondering if anyone knows of a place that might carry original parts for such a small segment of the production where I could get a lamp with yellow component. Yes, junk yards are possible but small number of such cars would seem to make that a needle in a haystack. Thanks much.

It wasnt a part for a small segment of production, it was available all 8 years of the 2gen GS. There are plenty of options on ebay for this:

Thanks for quick response. Pix of lamps on ebay links look just like what dealer provided to collision center but in white/clear only. Have passed info to mechs and will see what they and insurance guys will do, if they don't come up with a solution themselves. Thanks Agn.

SMH? every link i sent you have the yellow capsule in them. I've been doing this too long... I don't make mistakes. If you look at the titles, the ALL say yellow. If you look at the pictures closely, you can see the reflection of the yellow capsule inside. I you view the slides of pictures of each link, you'll see a picture of the back sides and you can see the yellow capsule inside.

You have the same fog lamps as any other 2GS. Besides, all this could have been easily avoided by simply looking at the parts fiche for your VIN, which your dealer and bodyshop can do.

Default More on GS 300 2-gen Yellow Lamps

1. Not sure why Jokster upset re lamp color....never said links he sent showed white lamps. Agree pix show yellow sleeve for bulb and titles id lamps as yellow. My ref to white referred to what dealer provided to collision mech, not to pix on links Jokster sent. Again, thanks for the links.

2. Agree w/Firelizard that checking fiche would prob find correct lamp BUT haven't seen fiche in parts depts for many moons....everyone trusts computer, only. Local Lexus dealer, who had vin for car, stated there's no
option other than white, according to his computer....and of course, computer is never wrong or incomplete.

All GS that had factory HID low beams had the yellow capsule fog lights, I don't have part numbers or anything on hand but seconding that your dealer is flat out wrong and they shouldn't have any problem sourcing the correct part. I'd look for a new dealer or shop if at all possible if they are that incompetent.

Not upset, just confused, I meant to put "lol" after my sarcastic remark . Can you explain why the ones I showed were incorrect? Or rather, can you post a pic of the ones you have? If you need part number, I can get you it to give to your mechs or insurance.
