It sounds like an amazing car and if I did not have my GS400, I would probably seriously consider buying it. The paint job alone cost $10K!!!

It belongs to a former (banned) member CSHFLW. He's definitely done a number of wild mods to the car, but he also likes to embelish quite a bit on the source of stuff he puts on his car (or sells).
I'll let other members comment on some of the claims he makes on parts in the advertisement.

I see the front-mounted intercooler. I don't see a supercharger or turbo. I'm still looking for the NOS bottle (with a subwoofer mounted on the end of it) that will make this car "hold it's own" with a GS400...

40k for a 2000 GS3!?! He has got to be dreaming. You can get a new 2003 Gs300 for that price. Also is that a real win kit because it does not look like it fits 100%. Also if it was a real win racing kit then why would he cut holes for the side markers? Some people

Rule #1 of buying used cars....Never EVER buy a car someone else has F'ed up already...
Seriously, I would stay away from modded cars and just buy a clean stock car and mod it to your own liking - you have much more control over what you want and don't want...

I saw that car yesterday, I had to laugh at the ad. there is no way that a GS3 is worth that kind of cash without some serious engine mods, ie. forced induction. Even then it would still need to have all of the other bs done to be worth that cash. But hey, congrats to him if he gets what he asks. If he does, I think mine will be there next.

What gets me is the 'rare JDM' lights he cleared himself, same as the ones he used to buy here and resell on ebay

Makes you think what else is not completely true.
