What do you guys think (SC430 Rims on a GS)???

You're right, Sam. I have an SC and just replaced my OEM rims w/ O.Z. Opera II's. If you check out the SC430 forum you'll notice there are quite a few posts from owners who have dumped the original rims. There's even a pic posted today of the new wheel conversion kit that allows replacement of the "pie plates" with a center cap. Why anyone would choose those wheels is beyond me!

I have this dish rims on my GS300.
Opposed to everyone's opinion, I did it (because I bought the rims before checking with CL). Here is my $2000 investment of the rims and some tires on my 2000 GS300.
Not as bad as I thought. It might not be the sporty look you guys want to see but I guess I have to tell myself to like it.
Done with the body. Now it is time for the DVD, LCD, Navi, backup camera...

Derek,
As long as you like it then that is all that matters.. For my taste those wheels look bad on a SC430 but even worse on a GS.. Just my honest opinion..

DerekC,
I think the SC rims look good on your GS. To me (owner of an SC430) the chrome makes the difference. I think the alloy pie plates are butt ugly but the chrome makes them pretty nice, especially for the price.
I am considering upgrading my SC wheels to the Auto Couture Magnifiques, the HRE 544, or Volk Racing DD. I like full faced wheels, don't want to see the brake and suspension guts underneath. The chrome Lexus pie plates aren't my favorite, but it's hard to justify spending $5k+ on rims and tires for a new car that already looks pretty damn good.
By the way, cool tread on the tires! Are those the Goodyear F1?

I GOT THEM ON MY LEXO
It really doesn't bother me much, I had 20's on my GS before and the ride wasn't as smooth, I like my SC430 ALLOY wheels... I paid 450 for them from EBAY

That rim with that center cover looks MUCH better and would look OK on the GS in my humble opinion..
