If you still referring to the RX wheels, check your rear inner tires for sidewall bubbling. Also what size are your rims & tire size you running?

I'll check them when I get home. The rx wheels are 18 and have 245/40/18 on them

The tire size your running 245/40/18 the rim width range needs to 8 - 9.5 inches wide. Sounds like you overloading the tire load capacity using a narrow rim. Change the rims & you'll be fine. Go to www.1010tires.com/tools/tire-calculator and it'll tell you the recommended tires for any rims you putting on your car

thank you for all the great info. I checked the tires and they all look very good. I do believe the PO when he told me they were new tires, even found receipt in the glove box to verify. I also found a receipt from a tire shop in 2015 stating exactly what you've been saying(rx330 wheels too narrow, needs bolt to hub type spacers, not recommended setup) so he either kept driving with them and routinely balanced them(lot of tire shop receipts in glove box) or switched them out and put them back on when he sold it. Bummer for me but live and learn I guess. Still got the car fairly cheap so I don't feel completely screwed.

Now I'm not sure if I want to shell out the money for new rims, go the extra mile with rims and good tires(think I'd get a staggered setup) or try to get quality spacers see if they get rid of the shake and ride them till the tires go and then deal with it

IS350 staggered wheels are the way to go if you're going to stick with 18s. I had that set up a few years ago. I was running 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. Ride was still smooth and handled a little better. My current set up is 19x8 front 245/35/19 and 19x9 rear 265/35/19 chrome GS Fsport wheels. I'm gonna start putting it together Monday and will build a thread
