My Credit Union's blackbook price for 98 GS with 42K shows a retailed price of $23125 for an extra clean GS300. I don't pay full retail price for any new or pre-owned vehicle. I bought my 99 GS400 earlier this year with navigation package and only 27K miles thousands under blackbook retailed price. I found my GS on autotrader and I bought it at another state. $23K is still a good chunk of cash so be patient and have fun finding your GS.

gs400, 23K IS a big chunk of cash.. but i don't know if i have the time to go state wise.. seems like a lot of work. i shall contemplate on this..

Default FWIW

I just picked up my second GS400 this past weekend (I sold my first one - a '98 - last year).

I'm in Atlanta and for $26,900 here are the specs:

1999 GS400
White/Beige
49,000
Xenon
Spoiler
17" BBS Rims
new 245/45s Sumitomo XTR+
new brakes
tint
Heated seats
some records
Standard Audio - no navigation
Flawless paint and leather leather looks new (I swear the previous owner couldn't have weighed more than 100lbs!)

Good luck,
Eric

hot damn shogun, very nice. btw, i'm also thinknig of a white GS instead of your typical black GS found on every street in LA.

what year was that btw?

I don't know how you guys can find all the great deals. MUST be from all that waiting and thumb twiddling? I guess I should wait, a GS400 is looking mighty nice. Hope they are still around..

I'm not sure I got the best deal I could have - although I tried all my tricks other than just passing on the car. At the end of the day it came down to the amount of time I wanted to invest in "looking" verus how much I could save by waiting for another car. All I know is that I couldn't get anyone else to match that price.

Time always works in your favor. It's just a matter of how much time you can wait.

Good luck,
Eric
