I know my tire size is 215-60-16 but should I get a ZR rated tire?
I've found new tires as low as $55 a piece & was thinking of snagging them up but I'd like to hear from you Guys
Thanks!!!

If it's 55 dollars a piece it must be some very cheap China tires. Don't do it unless it's a reputable brand. I learned the hard way. Bought some nankang noble sport tires for 56 bucks a piece and though they are good summer tires they are **** in the rain. Countless times my tires would lose traction and activate my skid control. Do yourself a favor and never cheap out when it comes to tires because you are putting your life on the line just to save a few bucks.

Over the years I've had several sets on my '99 GS400...Bridgestone Potenza (OEM but worst for wear), Eagle GT (excellent mid-range tire) and the latest are the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Incredible tire, well worth the cost for both handling and wear characteristics. Treadlife warranty is something like 50,000 miles, and after a year and a half I can attest they wear very well.

They are very smooth, you won't be disappointed. I have 17" DWS on my GS and 18" DWS 06 on my SC...these are the tires to get!

On the GS300 I really like the V-Rated Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus.

They're a great replacement for OEM and perfect for GS.

My favorite tires thus far have been my newest purchase, Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They costed about $900 installed which is a good deal with 18" tires, but I would gladly pay $1200 for them if I had too, I'm not kidding. They grip so perfectly and wear very even, lasting very long. I beat my car often and the tread is still really good after 1,500 miles or so which isn't bad for 290 rear wheel horse power, LSD, 3000 stall converter and various trans mods. We'll see how they last with more rwhp although I've read they do fine.

With 16 or 17" tires they'd be a lot cheaper. In any case to me its worth the extra 200 to $400 over the other "sport" tires.

They also have a dual compound for wet/dry conditions. I can barely get them to spin in the rain which is insane compared to how I spun in the dry on my last tires.
