Default Found: Cheap "Good Looking" Wood ****

Gents,
I just replaced the OEM **** (worn out and grubby) with a full "burlwood" **** from Crowder's Customizing.

Here's the deal for those looking:

1. The **** seems to be the exact same **** someone else is selling for $120 (they call it a Lexus replacement ****). Best I can tell - they both probably come from China.

2. It is REAL wood in a dark red/brown finish. It feels nice and looks as good as any other "wood" **** that I've seen.

3. It matches the door wood trim almost perfectly but it is a "slight" mismatch to the center console (mine has more "orange" or light spots in it than the door wood).

4. It sits higher up than OEM which felt weird at first until I realized, with my elbow on the arm rest, I now reach directly across vs. reaching slightly down to grab the ****.

5. I had to use the longer hex screws (that it came with) to secure the **** properly.

6. It screws directly on to the shifter stalk with no other adapters.

7. It looks a hell of lot better than what I had.

8. It was $36 (including priority shipping)! I almost bought the one for $120 and would have felt like an idiot if I had seen this one at a later date.

Here's the link to the cheap **** (go to Proline Shifter ***** - it's the last one on the list):

Here's the link to the "expensive" ****:

They both seem to have the same bezel and shape. Anyway, if you need a cheap, real wood, replacement **** - it worked well for me.

Good luck,
Eric

I still think the 'real deal' (MOMO) looks better.

would you by any chance know about how much longer it is than the oem leather shifter?? thanks!
anybody know why the **** before it with the gold trim is soo much cheaper? will it fit the gs? i'm wondering cause it looks like it's a closer shape to the oem one...

GREAT FIND!!!

The $36 one looks better.

I got a $110 MOMO Chrom Ball with wodd trim in the middle that matches my car poerfect.

Best part is a buddgy of mine gave it to me for a set of caliper stickers when I was selling those.

One of the best deals I ever made!

Peace,

Ted
