Default Timing Issues

99 GS400. Did the full water pump&Timing belt, idler, tensioner pulley and tensioner change. The timing marks are dead on but when I try and start the car it makes the sound as if the timing belt is broke or out of time. If it does start it runs horrible. What could be the possible cause of this problem?

No broken toothed. I don't get it, timing for cams and crank line up perfectly. Can anyone explain to me how to check for bent valves?
