nice pics brendan. i was about to get the S50 from the S45 but i'm using the controls less and less, so might migrate way down to the 400 for size. enjoy those controls for me too
Yes I got the G3, the S50 is more for quick point and shoot, it has less adjustability than mine. I was even thinking about that camera, but I'm too impulsive, I need to have the nicest stuff.

But still for the price S50 is awesome and compact. Very well built too, it feels very sturdy.

brendan,

Do you have a tripod? If not, I would HIGHLY recommend one as it makes the pics even clearer and sharper. As for the first shot being overexposed, it looks a little over exposed but still a good shot. I still have alot of pics that get overexposed, it's just a matter of practice.

Oh yes sir! Made sure to whip out the tripod for these pics. I really did over expose these big time. I set it for 10 seconds

Its a nice camera trick that i've tried doing with the regular SLR camera...i haven't tried with my digi camera yet. Gives you that Bling! look. Works great with reflections from sun....i think its called a "lens flare"

Great pictures...nice choice of the industrial-ish background.

Sorry .. another

Funny thing happened when I was taking this picture. These guys riding in a VW Golf drove by and said, "hery dude! hey dude! (talking to his passenger), those are HID's!" -- He didn't actually say H - I - D -- but HIDS as in HIDDEN?

Were you using a filter of some sort? Looks like a star filter or something is creating those flares around the light sources. Nice effect!

Does that gray Bimmer have stock 4100K HID? If so, your awesome Ultinons make them look yellow.
