Default Took Some Pics of My Car ... (big)

I decided to take some pictures of my car today with my new camera. All the good places to take pics were packed with people so I didn't wanna go. These aren't that good but these are the newest. Sorry, my car isn't full of mods

Brendan -

That looks awesome...Talk about blinding!! I guess the new toy (Sony digi camera 5 mp) helps too. Really crisp pics.

Btw...your 6000K looks blue now. What happened to the little purple color? I read on the Philips site that eventually, HIDs become more blue....Im wondering if this is the case here.

From Philips site:
"Colour stability:
One of the physical properties of Xenon gas discharge bulbs is that the colour changes over life time. The colour shifts towards the blue end of the colour spectrum. Consequently when only one bulb is replaced on a car, either because it has reached the end of its life or due to an accident, the colour impression of the new bulb compared to the older existing one will be different, i.e. more yellow.

The Philips Xenon HID bulb is the most blue on the market compared to major competitors. Therefore Philips Xenon HID gives the best colour match when fitted with an older existing bulb. "

Pete

Thanks Pete! It's a Canon Powershot S50.
If it looks abnormal, it's the exposure or the white balance because it made the PIAA LED's look bluish.

Brandan,

Glad you went with Canon, the S45 is a nice camera especially for the money, and it's a nice small camera for easy storage.

Great pics...

Brandon -- Thanks man! It's the S50 -- I love the metal body. Mine's kind of rare since it's got a silver housing instead of black.

I'll take some better pics tomorrow... the background is horrible (mix of lighting) and I think I used too long of an exposure on the first pic.

future, didn't you get the G3 or something? brendan said yours is like his but 1 megapixel less. i didn't know they were that similar in guts...

nice pics brendan. i was about to get the S50 from the S45 but i'm using the controls less and less, so might migrate way down to the 400 for size. enjoy those controls for me too
