Hey, I am new to the forums as I just purchased a 2001 GS300 (I have wanted this car since I started college in 2001). I know this will probably sound ridiculous to some of you, but I am a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan and I thought it would be awesome to have a custom "G" logo to replace the Lexus "L" logo on the grill.

I'm thinking that I'll probably have to design this in a CAD program myself and have it machined somewhere, to be followed by chroming. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

And if any of you think that my allegiance to Brett Favre and the gang is over the top, you're absolutely correct.

If you have it machined out of aluminum you can just polish it out and not bother with the chrome. I made several diffrent items and they polished out very well, and polishing wasnt all that difficult. If you draw it out solidworks or mastercam is prob the best bet since they are made for CNC mills and make the machining process alot easyer without having to convert it which does not always go very smoothly.

I was planning on adding a chrome "L" but until then the black mesh looks far better.

Where can I score a TTE grill like this?

Not sure which one you have as there have been different ones that look like this, such as the trd grill & L-Sportline. Most of the ones I've seen had the Lexus logo added to the center of the mesh.

Not sure b/c its actually a fake TRD style grill, but its not really TRD style. It does seem to be carbon fiber, whereas the TRD grill is fake carbon fiber.
