I just bought one of those chrome grill inserts for my GS and $25 makes a great difference. I'll post pics but I think it looks great.

Looks good. I think you can just strip the stock grille and get chrome. I read it here somewhere. I know its chrome underneath the black/gray paint cuz there's a small spot on mine that rubbed off and its chrome. But for only 25 bucks, it might not be worth the work of stripping it! Also, I would have TWO grilles in cas I want to go back to black. Hmmmm. Where did you get the grille?
