Ever wonder what the inside of the SRT ECU looked like? I installed my SRT ECU recently in my GS400. Since they're out of business, I figure the warranty is gone with it too so I decided to open it up.







The PCB just kinda sits in the box, not secured. There was a small Styrofoam peanut in it to hold it down but it didn't do a very good job. If you ever shook your ECU, thats why it made noise inside. Googling the microchip, looks like it is a widely used chip in automotive applications.

I opened mine up as well and was not surprised with what I found. My GS400 SRT intake/chip will soon be for sale as I've gone back to stock.

Reason for going back to stock? not happy with the SRT ECU? I might be interested in if when you decide to sell it.
