I live in the UK and I have those headlamp washers on my GS. They do a pretty good job of washing the bonnet, windscreen and anybody that dares to get within 5 yards of them (I've got the wife twice now) but anything more than normal dirt (not bugs, bird crap etc) doesn't get shifted.

I live in Canada and the washers are a standard option here. I very rarely use them though. I wash my car once a week or sooner if it gets really filthy - so don't really need to use the headlight washers. I would prefer not to have them - the cleaner, shaved look is better.
