The "L" badge is a pop out piece; kinda hard to make it disappear.
I did think about blacking it out, but I'm not that brave yet!
Well the flat black will be sticking to the primer. I primered the SHIZ out of it!!!
If it does chip, I'll just recoat it.
BTW-SoCal, Do you have any pics of your ride? The setup sounds killer!

Those grills look cool... this trend could spawn a new Star Wars movie... Attack of the Vader Grills! Well, OK, maybe thats a bit of a stretch...

You didn't have to sand the primered coat any did you? I'm going to have to do this now for the hell of it! Got an old chrome grill sitting around waiting to get VADERIZED :P

I decided to make my "L" badge go away- last night I painted it charcoal to match the OE grille.
This will work for now... four weeks and counting for the arrival of my TRD Japan C/F grille!

Which plastic scratch remover did you use?
You probably can't tell, but I also polished my headlamps housings as well. I used a plastic scratch remover type wax and it did wonders!!!
