Vader Grill II
Thanks to Dex's great looking modded OEM grill, I decided to give it a shot!
I had a lot of rock chips on the grill, so I had to do something. What do you guys think? Thanks Dex!

Yea I like that, that wasn't a bad idea dude. I had rock chips too so I tried the DIY process. It turned out ok but I could have done better.

I just blacked out my grill this morning...don't have any pics yet, but I think it looks good. I like the '01+ Grill Design, since the slots are fatter...more of a visual impact.

It didn't take too long at all. The primer was super quick to dry. The flat black enamel paint took longer, but I set it under a box fan to dry. I did about 3 or 4 coats of the paint. Over all about 3 hours.
You probably can't tell, but I also polished my headlamps housings as well. I used a plastic scratch remover type wax and it did wonders!!!

The black grille looks good... personally, I would make the Lexus badge go away- or black it out, too.
I am interested to hear how well the flat black sticks to the chrome after some road-exposure !!
