Having problems with my 02 GS300 in the accelerator pedal position sensor

So I've Been Told that sometimes they get dirty and the throttle position sensor as well so they need to be cleaned. Right now my car is running in limp mode and having a hard time figuring it out this is what I've been told so far is anybody here on the forum know anything about this any help will be greatly appreciated thank you very much

Car is not showing any codes at all have double check and triple checked but no codes at all and have no acceleration basically at all I had someone tell me that I need to clean my accelerator pedal position sensor and throttle position sensor sometimes they get a little dirt and stuff built up inside of them would like to know if this is true I'm just really having a hard time with this and really need help and some ideas so I will gladly take on any ideas anybody has or if anybody has been in this situation before please let me know I really would appreciate it and also if I do need to clean all of that with the throttle body is there a certain procedure about doing it other than just the way we normally clean a throttle body on any type of car any input will be greatly appreciated thank you very much to all you guys out there
