Hi! Unfortunately I have this horrible creaking sound coming from my 03' gs300.

The sound is coming from the front passenger side only.

I asked a couple of people and some said ball joints, some said tie rods and dad said struts. I had a mechanic take a look and he said that my ball joints, tie rods, bushings, and all that was good but he didn't look at the struts or anything. Dad said to push down the passenger side fender multiple times and when I do it, you definitively hear squeaking sounds.

I'll post two videos for you guys to listen and let me know your thoughts.

I'm open to buying coilovers to fix this because I'd rather not fix just the passenger side only.

Thoughts?

That doesn't sound like a typical ball joint noise. Take off that wheel and check out the strut and spring. Pop off the cover on the strut tower in the engine bay and look that over as well.

Figure out the problem first, then buy the parts. Don't throw money at it if you're not sure it's the problem.

Mine is making that exact same noise in that exact same location . Local shop told me I needed new struts. Something about the suspension is banging against the exhaust .

I would bet money that the lower control arm bushings are shot.....but the best plan of action is to take off the wheel and inspect the bushings and strut. If thats not an option take it to your mechanic and have him or her take a look at the car.

Taking it to another shop tomorrow to get inspected, guy said he'll take some time to look over it. I guess this thread is pointless now but I'll update tomorrow.
