I don't see how this would be more cost effective than just selling the GS300 and buying a GS430, if you value your time.

To find a 430 in the color combo I have local to me would be rare and probably end uop costing me $5k+. I already have alot of time into my current 300 and would just rather have the 3uz as far as power goes. Labor wont cost me a dime since i have my own shop and will be doing all the work myself, just looking for input as far as wiring goes. AZJDM has the 3uz motor/trans/ecu/harness for $950 so as far as money goes its not expensive at all

Well if you have the engine, computer, and harness available, it would swap in and run. But I wouldn't waste the time. Keep your eyes open and one will pop up one day. And it will be better off than your custom install more than likely. The 400/430 have other differences. The radiators are thicker, obviously you need the exhaust parts, the transmission in the V8's are different than the 300. Different gearing in the rear end. Probably a great deal you would run into. No swap ends up cheap. What about A/C? all the in's and outs of every system.. You'd end up with an incomplete, less than satisfying car that no one would want to buy. Just being realistic. You can get a 430 for cheaper if you wait for it.

Agreed with all of the "find the car you want with the engine already in it" comments. If you really need more power in your current car, I'd say look at turbo or SC options for your 2JZ.

@badblackgs did the opposite swap of a 2jz-gte into a 430 after his supercharged 3uz blew a rod. Its definitely possible but he mentions a ton of wiring that needed to be changed to make it work in his thread.

Sell your 300 and get a 430 or 400 if you really want the V8 GS setup. IMO not worth the time to swap in the 3uz when you can find the GS430 and 400s around if your patient and consistent in your search.
