He's a CL member. He just posted recently all these pictures of his GS. The post was about how he installed the L-Sportline kit himself -- if I remember correctly, the fitment on the front bumper wasn't the best.

I don't understand people spending so much time and money to get the car just right and then selling it very soon afterwards.

Richie, its very common to burn out or get bored after fixing your car up and spending tons of money. For me, I'm currently on my second full blown stereo system and probably will upgrade again before I get another car. I'm almost positive that what ever car he gets, he will probably start a new project on the car. Once you get the mod bug, it's hard to get rid of it!!!

For many it's the difference between the journey and the destination. Modding a car vs. simply owning a modded car, even a lexus. Or maybe I'm being too philisophical and he's just needs some cash?

I see your points but could never see myself doing that (selling the car so soon) after all the hard work I put into it.

For me, I think I'm done with this mod thing. It is just taking more time than I thought and want. The only other project that I really want to do is a GT76 single turbo fully built 3UZ-FE swapped into a full carbon fiber shell Supra using a full MoTec 880 stand alone ECU system. I think that would be interesting project to say the least....and expensive as hell.

Well, I have thought of other projects like a TT Viper, TT 360 and other weird Lexus projects. But, I think I'm done for now.
