the front looks like the ES...which i don't really like.
I hope they don't do that to the GS in the future.

False alarm. It's Lexus HPX prototype.

Thanks GoD is a false alarm. I have a feeling the NEW GS series will be nicer and stronger.

I agree - wait and see...no speculation. Worse case scenario: keep your current GS and save some money!

I dont think the photo looks all that bad.

There have some previous photoshops and drawings that have looked a lot worse.

Skulinex,

I remember reading something from the NY auto show indicating that the next gen GS would have a similar look to the HPX concept. But, I am not sure whether it was an official statement from Lexus or just plain speculation.

I think the overall shape is good-looking...

It could use a little bit more aggression: the blistered fenders of the current GS, for example.
The nose that slopes down should provide excellent road visibility.

Not too bad IMO.

I think that AutoSpies pic looks really good. It's somewhat different though to the HPX concept that has already been shown which is a bit taller and more of an SUV type vehicle. Here's the pic:

I sure hope this is not the new GS will look like. The GS has a design in a class of it own. I hope Lexus doesn't make it look like an Audi, or Pontiac Grand Prix.

it's right there if you see where the front door handle is. it opens like 3rd doors on a truck.
