Default Amayama for Genuine Parts - My Experience with Control Arms & Engine Mounts

I am sure that posts have been made in the past regarding Amayama, but just thought I'd add my two cents. Recently decided to order some stuff after the dealership found that my front UCAs needed to be replaced. Quote: $1560. Also decided it was time for new engine mounts and transmission mount.

I'm a stickler for genuine/OEM parts when the originals last (150k in my case), so I decided to see how cheap I could get factory UCAs. I was not interested in upgrades (SPC, etc.) or aftermarket (Mevotech, Moog, etc.). I've been burned too many times by aftermarket parts not performing to expectations. Of course there are exceptions on non-critical parts or upgrades.

My findings:
1. Front UCAs, P#s 4863039055 for left and 4861039085 for right
  • Carson Toyota: $497 per side, $115 shipping. $1,038 total.
  • Amayama: $235 per side, $65 shipping. $535 total.
  • (For reference, ACDelco arms are $250 for both off RockAuto. I've read numerous reports though of aftermarket arms not lasting. Your money, your choice).
2. Engine Mounts, P#s 1236150111 for left and right front, 1237150200 for rear.
  • Carson Toyota: $128 per front mount, $86 for rear mount, $61 shipping. $405 total.
  • Amayama: $78 per front mount, $68 for rear mount, $65 shipping. $289 total.
Naturally, because these parts are coming from Japan, shipping will take longer. My order was placed June 6th and arrived last Friday to VA (15th). No duties were accessed despite the order being over the $200 limit. However, if people are looking for a way to get genuine parts at a nice discount, and aren't in a massive rush... highly recommend Amayama. All parts I received were genuine with Toyota labeling from Japan. Will report back when everything is installed.

Very nice, I kind of went different and got the absolute cheapest control arms on the market last year ($72 shipped for the pair).

Been on the car right around a full year and doing fine, lol.
