How do I fix the hood release pull handle
RX350 Lexus 2007
Hood release pull handle cable comes out and clasp will not hold the cable.

Then maybe ask in the correct subforum, this is the 2GS, not the RX 
However, on the GS there are also problems with the cable and after a couple of years, the cable has to be replaced, it is quite simple and self-explanatory, but there are also guides here. the most difficult part of the job is getting the new cable in the cabin.
