Guys, my take is the sound does change a little as you put miles on it - probably the filter oil moving around and some dirt getting on it change the sound - I think mine's not quite as loud as when I first put it on.
Future - you don't like the sound!? Everyone around where I live including me love the sound! I have an L-Tuned exhaust and the combo is great.

QUESTION - How did you guys get the Teck grounding kit? They will NOT answer any emails (I'm starting to take it personally

Hey Guys,
Its funny how these old posts find their ways back from the dead.
I guess that means spring is coming and the mods are starting to happen.
Anyway, after now 6 months like this...have to say I am still happy. The tech kit is good eye candy and does serve a function purpose by keeping ground the static and voltage from other parts of the car in a circuit grounded to the battery. As you know, there is a lot of static charge that happens when driving, keeping grounded is important for your engines electrical system.
Prior to having this installed, I have experienced the car stalling twice in my lifetime while I was in drive and coming up to a stop sign. Post install that has never again happened again.
As for the intake, still very nice piece. Never had any engine light come on and for the price is a great product. Light whisling is heard but not as bad on some of the SRT intakes. I did use insulating 3m foam high temp padding to insulate the "box" Really serves 2 functions. First, it trasmit less noise into the cabin and secondly acts kind of like a "fridge" by insulating the box from the heat from the engine. We all know that cooler air going in makes for faster car vs hot air going in.
New mods going in this spring are torque master plugs, Tranny cooler and TRD thermostat in my 60k service.
