Default Sub woofer mod

It worked for me. I set F and R at 5, P1 at 2. There's a big difference compared to stock setting. I'm still not sure what are the other features (P2, L, etc...) for? BTW, I have a 99 GS400 with the Pioneer unit. Great mod.

I tried this lock cyclinder thing, and was still able to open the trunk via the trunk switch (inside the car) and the one on the remote.

Again, what's the purpose of this?

Default lights

about the headlights thing, I know auto turns the light on when its dark and off when its bright, but when you park do you then have to manually turn the lights off from the switch or does it turn off after a certain time period, because i left my lights on for about 2 minutes and it never turned off so i had to do it before it killed the battery, will be trying the 2 touch of the lock button later but i think i have tried it before and not have it work, do you do it in the auto position or in the regular on position?

Well, I will be joining the list of people who's lights does not turn off when you double press the lock button the remote, and i can't try it on auto now because, well, its daytime, so i will try it later.

Pressing lock twice on my remote will trun off the lights, UNLESS the trunk is open. Then they stay on until I close it. Found this out the hard way.

Are there any audio adjustments for the Nakamichi Head Unit on a 98 GS or only the lexus branded one?

I've searched around and couldn't find this one:

When i'm taking off in the car and either put the car in reverse or drive, i'd like to have all the doors lock immediately. Is this possible? I didn't see it in the c-best list.

My '02 GS430 Nav. does that. It locks all doors when I shift to Drive or Reverse. It was like that when I bought the car. I thought it's a standard feature for the GS.

It's not a "standard", it's a option really. You need the dealership to program it in.

But it is dependent on the "localization" of the car. I went to the dealer and asked for that. They could only enable the function to open the doors, when putting the gear into P position. Closing the doors seems to be a no-go in European version cars (Germany), the reprograming failed.

4. In the glove box, you can get to the Air conditioner filter and clean it out. You can remove the panel by pulling it straight out and than slide out the A/C filter. I could not believe how dirty and filthy my filter was and I was breathing all that ****** when the AC was on.

I have a CD changer in the glove box. How do I get to the AC filter?
