I'm waiting for that too. My 2002 GS300 ML system (with nav) sounds dull on FM. The tweeters can hardly be heard. One has to put his ears on them to notice any sound so maybe tweaking the P2-setting could do the miracle.
Till now I only managed to get into the menu with those Japanese signs. After that nothing happens whatever button I push

Mmmm... I thougt this trick was for the pioneer and not for the ML
But now I'm in doubt: do I have a ML or not? I used to have an IS200 which definitly had a ML sound system but what system is in my 2002 GS300? If anybody knows I would be happy...

try either one of those 2 buttons at the bottom, you might get lucky. worse comes to worst, turn off the car and itll go away. very little chance of screwing something up.

yeah, just do it anyways and if any of the 'p' codes come back anything other than good just clear them by holding either 3 or 5 (cant remember which it was )

Don't know if it's been posted before...
In the trunk, there's a puller behind the left liner near the gas door to open the gas door manually.
If you have navi in the 98-00 GS (not sure if the 01+ does that too) in the menu, it shows the cruising range, when it reaches about 30miles left, it will jump about 20 more miles for you and if you continue to drive and goes to about 10 miles left after you've already notice the first jump, you'll get another jump of about 10 more miles of cruising range.... But it might just be me though... :/
