Default Shift Solenoid C

Does anyone know where I can buy shift Solenoid C, my shop quoted me 400 for the part but I was hoping I could find it cheaper.

I would try cleaning it myself but don't have any mechanical experience.

I really dont know want to spend 400 dollars on the solenoid, not even knowing if replacing the solenoid will fix the problem because the car is also giving the code for a problem with the shift sensor.

Thanks

Many of us old heads have already solved this. The part number should be listed in the thread. I did mine myself. Good luck!

If you’re handy with the wrench and comfortable around an engine, you could do it yourself. Otherwise, I guess it’s a good deal, I wouldn’t pay anyone to do that.

Fx the cracke valve cover gasket?
Doesn't he mean replace it? Already doesn't sound kosher.

Take it to someone who knows what they are talking about. There is no fixing a gasket in a auto box, good luck.
