Sorry mate but you are getting it wrong, i did not make any change on the "blueprint"

I received the tail lights
Removed the older ones and harness
Changed the old bulbs into the new tails/harness and bought new ones for the reverse
connected the new harness on the plug

Just happened that after this many bulbs would not light up, so i had to "Play" with them.....

This is the issue. If you put new bulbs in and they did not light up then either the harness or the lamp failure box is bad or you have LEDs and they were not installed correctly. You have given us bits and pieces of info and you want us to help. But you have to give us all of the info.
Are the new bulbs LED?
Were the lights working before on the old harness?
Did you modify the new harness when the bulbs did not work?

And just for the record.....playing with bulbs while the circuit is hot is a sure fire way to short wiring out. And personally I dont think you have the knowledge to sort this out. Bring it to an auto electrician and have them sort the car out before you have a crispy brick!

Simple plug and play. All connectors are the same. These are 2001 tail lights and my car is a 98 GS400

Hello, thanks for your help, you are correct as i do not have the knowledge to sort this out but i was trying to figure how the heck a simple thing became this damn ****ty.

- I do not have led´s, all the tail lights except the reverse lamps are OSRAM W21/5W 12V (7515)
- I removed them from the older tail lights and they were working fine on them.
- I purchased the +01 tail lights from ebay, they arrived with the green wires cutted on the turning lights, i just wired them together and turning lights were working properly.

will take it to an auto electrician for sure.

Thanks

You need to make sure that the bulbs you're putting in are the right type. Some of them are dual filament and some of them are single. Also like Letsride said most LED bulbs can only be installed one way

As far as I recall the bulbs should be 7443. Where did you get 7515 from?

so now inner tail and Brake lights work but outer does not work! Just had some minutes of daylight so tomorrow will look into it.

also found rat **** near the front top suspension strut....damn

Well just found why the outter bulb does not light, the wiring that comes from the car has 5 wires and the harness from the 01+ tailights has 6!

Thought i only needed the tailight harness, not the rest of the harness...

Solved! Found out that the bulbs that did not light up had ground but as they lacked the power wire i just made a connection from the other bulb wire!

all works now
