My car is suffering from the same dillemma right now

I got my front bumper painted in the spring because i had some rock chips, and i asked the body shop manager (body shop is owned by the lexus dealership where i bought the car) and he says $300+. I kind of thought that sounded high. Also at the dealership, the service guy that i deal with told me that it wouldnt be covered under warranty as it can be considered "body damage". if you guys are getting this covered under warranty, please let me know. Thanks.

I am getting mine replaced for free. I replaced the same part about 7 months ago and again it is coming off. I pick my replcement up tomorrow. Again I think the part is about 60 or 70 bucks. I will get a part # for ou guys shortly.

Just to reiterate. We are talking about the half inch high rubber piece that runs right underneath the doors, right?
