Default Power folding mirror configuration

To all power folding mirrors modifiers to their GS 300. Just completed my folding mirror installation however I noticed that the driver side mirror doesn’t fold completely like the passenger side mirror. Wanted to know if this is normal or is there an additional adjustment that I need to do to make it fold completely.

Are you using the Honda relay method?

Look farther down the page. That thread says "Onto the wiring. I tried looking for the JDM MPX door ecu for an OEM install but I couldn't justify the cost. I ended up getting a JDM Honda power folding mirror relay for $25. Only down side is you have to run the wires into the cabin where the relay is at. "

If you didn't use the relay to make your mirrors close when you press the button how are you accomplishing that?

Wow. I didn't know about those boxes. Have you tried hooking up power to the motor wires manually and seeing how long each side takes to open and close? I would guess that one of the motors is probably moving slower than the other.

you would have to modify the bracket, its not a motor or electrical issue.

I can double check how far they fold if I remember to do when I get home tonight. I have a set that I have yet to install on the car

I just checked the folding mirrors that I have at my house and they both fold in as far as the right mirror. Either the mechanism is messed up or the motor is old and moving slow

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will look at the loader and the bracket. However the mirrors opening and closing is sequence to the car ACC ON or Off. They both move at the same speed.
