Throttle body from 00 on 03 gs300?
Having major problems with my cars throttle body assembly so went to the junk yard and took off the assembly from a 2000 gs300 and put it on my 2003 gs300.
I see that the part numbers are different.
2000 gs300 -22030-46*1*20
2003 gs300- 22030-46*2*20
It was a a direct fit and my car is running again... Albeit rather oddly with some intermittent hesitation.
What is the ddifdiffer between these two assemblies? Are they interchangable? Thanks

I wouldn't concern myself with it. They were likely just built at different times and locations by the lowest bidder. The 2jz stayed the same and wouldn't have a need for a different throttle. You may need to clean your maf and do a reset of the computer by disconnecting the battery terminals and holding them together for 5 minutes. ECM will relearn idle etc.

Part number difference is likely due to the manufacturing year and the 2001 make over crossover. 90% of parts on the entire car are interchangeable between the pre and post 01 and about 95% of engine components are interchangeable so there's nothing to be concerned of.
