This is really a biased question/poll. You are asking us if we would trade in our GS for the RX-8 when all of us are die-hard GS fans. That's like asking if I would trade my spouse for another younger, sexier, smaller and more eye-catching girl..... errr.....hmmm.....now maybe I would!!!!!!!! Hahaha....

But in all seriousness, if you are looking for a sporty weekend car, then by all means get the RX-8. The car did win the "best engine" award recently and its looks became famous when it was debuted in the X2 (X-Men II) movie.

But for me, naaah....I am way too old to be a boy racer or a pocket rocket owner again.

The mustang is a heck of a drag car though and with minor mods(I believe only an exhaust) it dips into the 12 second 1/4 mile range. A few handling mods would help it get around the track better.

But it's still a fat boy..

How the heck doo you attach a pic. Everytime i do it it says the pic is too large. Im dying too atch some pics. Anyways, i was really impressed with the accesories and interior that mazda is offering. Also the 2+2 is a huge factor and is said too be larger than the G35 coupe. The RX8 is said by many too be the most beutifully designed car too come outta Japan!

I am too old to find the RX8 attractive but for all you Gen Ys that's a good thing. You wouldn't want to be caught in an old guys car...wait if you have a GS you already have been caught in one.

Bummer..

How about a BMW 330ci with Sports Package and optional 18" rims.

I'm too old for those 350z / RX8 2 door sport coupes (although the G35 Coupe does look great!).

The BMW 330ci won't be as much as an M3, yet it's still sporty, nice classic look to it and very fun to drive when loaded with the full sports package and those nice thick tires (biased here, since I have a 330i (Sedan) and that car is the most fun car I have ever driven).

The BMW 3 series coupe, gives you the sportiness, luxury and classic look all in one car. Sure it's still 2 doors, but it's just different from the 350Z & RX8.

The 330ci is a great choice.

Has anyone noticed that a lot of E46 M3' are driven by Asian guys? Just an observation in Norcal.

surprised how inexpensive they are for a new body design. they can be as low as 25k. thats cheap imo. the nav is a nice eye catching flip up item.
