Heavy Rain and now VSC and VSC off lights are on
So yesterday is Socal we had some heavy rain. No problems in the morning when I got to work. At lunch I started the car and the check engine light was on and the VSC and VSC OFF lights were on. I could feel a misfire at idle and as I drove (slowly) the check engine light would blink meaning misfire. I assume something got wet. But what areas should I start to look at? The check engine light is now on as well as the VSC and VSC OFF lights, so when I get home I will read the codes and see what they are.
But why would the VSC and VSC off lights come on?
Any help would be appreciated.

Grabbed my laptop and ran the codes. I had P0300 - Random/Multiple misfire Detected and P0307 - Misfire Cylinder 7.
I cleared the codes and the VSC and VSC OFF lights went off as well. So something some how got wet with all the rain, just sitting at work.
If I find out where the water came from I will post my findings.

Mine was always related to the gas cap. Once it turned on and I rotated it tight, making the line hand line up virtually. Then I ignored the lights for about 50 miles and after a few starts up during that time it all turned off on its own. You can also have it turned off by a scan tool if you have access to one and are a little bit more impatient. I understand it looks a bit scary all lit up, but just adjust the gas cap and drive it for a a full tank of gas and see if what happens.
