Default Coolant temp sensor location

Hey all I have search the site and different people say different things on the location of this dumb sensor. Car doesn't get all the way up to warm temp and i thought id try this before the thermostat.
Can someone please point me to the location. Ive spend an hour searching. It's not the one on the radiator bottom I know. 1998 GS300. Thanks!

The thermostat is the obvious first thing to check. Remove it and replace it (they're cheap). Or test it by immersing it in water heated to the temperature it is supposed to open at and verifying that it is opening and closing properly.

Here it is but I agree that you ought to check out the thermostat first.

Glad you got it fixed. The old shade tree mechanic logic is that the thermostat has moving parts and the sensor does not.
