I'll post a DIY soon. I got lucky and found a home link bezel (part that covers/surrounds buttons) on ebay. The new console with sunglass holder is from Steve G. Whole job cost $110 and took about 2 hours.

DIY
I found the homelink with button surround on ebay for $25. I got the sunglass holder from Steve G for around $100.
Quick DIY steps with pictures below.
1. Remove visor from car by pulling plastic cover from around visor shaft and removing the two screws. Unplug the wiring harness and take the visor to a clean work surface.
2. Using a small flat blade screwdriver remove the lens from the vanity light. Remove the two screws and pivot the vanity unit out of the visor. Disconnect the wires and remove the vanity unit.
3. Position the homelink unit in the opening where you removed the vanity unit. Trace the outline of the homelink on to the visor core (Styrofoam).
4. Using a utility/razor knife score the outline of the homelink to about half way through the Styrofoam. Careful not to cut through to the other side and destroy the visor. Using a dull flat blade screw driver pick away at the Styrofoam until you have a pocket for the home link to sit in. You will need to remove the entire depth of the Styrofoam.
5. Set the home link in the place and locate the location of the buttons through the fabric on the face of the visor. Using the button cover as a pattern cutout an oval hole in the fabric slightly smaller than the button cover.
6. Splice the two wires from the homelink into the two wires to the visor light.
7. Replace the vanity unit and snap the button cover on.
8. Install visor back in car.
9. The installation of the sunglass holder is very straight forward. Just remove the light lens, remove the screws, and unplug the wiring harness. The sunglass console comes complete with all the buttons and lights. Just plug it in and replace screws and light lens.
