Default No fender gap and big rims!!!

You know, I love to see nice cars with large wheels and no fender gaps. Especially on BMW's when they lower their cars the tire sits right under the fender; looks really nice.

My question is this... Im getting my APEXi world sport coilovers installed this weekend and I also run 20x8.5 all around... I want to know how to make it like that...

Do I need spacers in the rear?

questions / comments / concerns ...

PICS would be great too!

If you have +35 offset at the rear, you can adjust the coilover to drop ~3" to achieve that look. But you definitely need to modify the inside of the fender to avoid rubbing.

Of course your probably going to have to cut off the inner lip of the fender to acheive that look... Im not sure I have 35 offset, but I was probably going to get H&R spacers...

does anyone have a setup like this??

Your confusing me on this, why would you need spacers to achieve that look? If anything, the issue you are going to have is on the fender well lip. If you are using spacers, obviously you will be pushing the wheel out towards the lip, which is exactly what problem you would be trying to overcome to begin with. If you have the proper offset wheels to begin with, simply trim the fender well out, slam the car, and there ya go, your goal is achieved.

It is doable with 20 x 8.5 all around, but if I am not mistaken, those two pics that you posted have 20 x 10 in the rear.

The reason why I want spacers is so I can move my rear wheels out toward the lip of the fender. The rear wheels and front wheels are the same size and same offset. Since I dont have wider wheels in the rear, I would need spacers to give it that type of look...

It'll be better to run wider wheel(staggered setup) than spacers......With wider wheel you can fit wider tire(looks better) plus spacers aren't good for your axle.

I totally agree with the staggered setup being better overall.. the main reason why I got the same wheels all around was so I could rotate them to extend the tire life.

How are adapters bad for the axels?
