Help Replacing Ignition Switch
How the heck do you get at those two screws?! They are Phillips right? I've been breaking my back trying to figure how to get the damn thing off.
Thanks

its not a flat or phillips..its actually flat..u have to hit it at a angle with chisel first,,then take a needel nose and grab them and turn them, but when u r taken off the first one, dont take it off all the way..cus u need it to hold the ignitoiom up and makes it easier to remove the second one

Why are you replacing the switch...? Bad auto-start install fix?
You mean the white part at the end of the cylinder, with the wiring? Should just be two screws... might have to find some 90deg drivers, to get it started, yet they should just be screwed in. On most of the Toyotas we've removed this from, one is easy to reach, the other requires removing a lot of under-dash parts, and using bent-drivers.
If it's the cylinder you want out, turn the key to "ON"(?), then push in the pin, and the entire cylinder should slide out.
