GUys i need your help I was just in an accident with this stupid kid 18 years old with no license and driving some else rental car. hey here is the ? do I have to call my insurance company and if i do is it going to come out my full coverage policy?the cops were there took report and all and they say i was not at fault.

My family were in the car thank God nothing happend to them man it all happend so fast split second the kid hit the side where my daughter was sitting . man i tell you guys this kid was coming head on into my lane if i have not move to the side I dont even want to think.

 

Man sorry about your ride man, I know how you feel. Thank God you and your family are ok. As for the insurance, yes give them a call and file a claim. They will pursue the other driver's insurance or whom ever the car is insured under since he hit you. I think you have 36-48 hours to notify them. Clearly from the pics they will see its not your fault, you got hit from the rear. You're going to need the police report from the Precinct. Trust me I know the routine, I used to live in NY. You can't avoid that sometimes when you get rear-ended.

Ok sorry let me refraise. You got side-swiped from the rear. It still doesn't matter he still hit you. Don't worry yourself, he is very much in the wrong in this situation and the evidence from the pics and police report will prove him very liable for any damges. Nothing should have to come out of your pocket.

glad youo and your family are OK...now to the car. it looks like the area around the wheel is pretty messed up, but how about that back left wheel? Is there any damage to it, or is it unscathed?

Very sorry about ur car. Hurts just to look at that pic. I remember the perfect condition ur car was in at the meet. I was in a car accident earlier this year, i had to fix the 2 passenger side doors and rear fender. The Lexus body shop did a great job. Call ur insurance company and they should work everything out for u.

The most important thing is u and ur family werent hurt. Good luck with ur car.

well if the car was a rental than it is insured and that should take care of u , the one i trouble should b the person who rentened the car and lent it out 2 someone else...
