Widest exhaust tips with stock bumper.

Widest exhaust tips with stock bumper.
Anyone off the top of their head know the max width possible for the exhaust tips, so I wouldn't have to get a new bumper?
Thinking about slapping something on to make the back look a bit more aggressive, the stock tips are too recessed making it not as visible as I would like.
I found a couple on ebay with a 2.25" inlet that aren't "too" wide, I was hoping some 2GS connoisseurs could chime in. Much appreciated.

ph0, It's because they don't know the answer, yet the topic appeared so asinine at the same time, lol.
I'm with you though. My GS sits at home daily and there are times I have no luck with the search section or Google and wished folks would just answer with facts, or leave it alone. That's not the era we are in, unfortunately. I asked a question about a link that was in a massive thread of "help" links that was not working for "me" and apparently I should have automatically known that the person that created that helpful link on a certain topic wanted his posts removed from this site. Forums can be a double edged sword sometimes. Bummer

I get it, some users are a bit "lazy" when it comes to finding the answers on their own.
Having said all that, did you try searching for the answer or Google? 😂😂

There are so many systems that are direct fit. Just find one you like and install it. Go as big as you want. 5 inch would be overkill imo. But to each their own.

I remember back in the day, when we went out and measured things and TRIED stuff on our cars. Like taking stuff apart, and wheel test fitting.
Back before the internet had all the answers. I just think it's funny that someone can "spend all morning on the internet looking" (when at "work") when it would take 45 seconds at the back of the car with a tape measure to determine this.
These days I guess simple wheels and "tints" are classified as a "build."

Thanks for your input, it's duly noted. Now we know that if you don't spend 10k+ it isn't considered a real "build".
