Default Wheel fitment question

Sorry I have tried searching this, sorry in advance. I am new to the Lexus market just picked up a mint 2004 GS430 with 35k miles. Going to go to either coils or lowering springs (rear struts are shot). I’m located in WV and not finding a lot of wheel options for sale here without hefty travel. Trying to go cheaper, and so far found

5x114.3 Volk GT3 wheels 18x8.75 +47 off a Nissan Z, and a lot of newer mustang based 18x9.5 +45. Other than getting hub rings, would those fit without rubbing or rolling? Again trying to gain some insight. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a difficult question to answer. Are you only lowering the car 1-2 inches? In my research for wheels that fit over LS400 calipers I've found that +25mm ofsets are the best. 8.5 wide in the front and 9.5 in the rear. This thread has helped me in the past, and there's another one on CL, can't think of it's title that offered all the basic rim size/offset combinations that will work.

+47 is probably right on the cusp of too much offset and 8.75" front would be really pushing it without some camber or rolling the fender from what I've seen unless you run a small width tire. 9.5" is too wide for the front for sure without a lot of camber, a stretched tire, or a lot of rolling. +45 is about right for the front wheel though. Look at tire rack and it will give you a good range for what fits and what doesn't

I don't recall seeing someone use such high offsets on wheels wider than 8". I think they would not clear the upright. 8.75 +47 will easily clear the front fender without modification, so will 9.5 +45. It's the inside clearance that will be problematic. Offset makes no difference in brake clearance, it's entirely up to the wheel design.

Since you've searched, you know what people have successfully fit and what it looks like, so find yourself wheels with those specs. If you can't find them locally, have them shipped in.

Have a look at RimTuck:

I also used Wheel Size:
