Does anyone know how to take out the cigarette lighter out of the center console. I don’t know if your suppose to pull it off because I didn’t want to brake it.
There’s a notch in the console that aligns with the lighter. Twist from the inside until the notch lines up and then pull from the lighter from the inside of the console.
For reference it took longer to write this than it does to remove the lighter. Lol

Sorry for the answering the topic, but I did.
It also took me some time to figure out how to remove the cigarette lighter port in the armrest.
The reason I did this is to install the USB female connector in this place so that I can connect the flash drive to the stereo system.
Of course through the adapter module.
But me, and everybody else agreed, that my USB installation loooks absolutely original, and didn't destroy the integrity of the car.

I was just curious if you are doing anything custom in this spot. Some have shared some custom set-ups, nice modern touches and some have had some great ideas to add like DundukovEM has shared. I added 2 on/off switches (for door led lighting and the fiber optic headliner light engine) and a dual usb Samsung lighting charger with a constant 12v power supply so I can charge my phone in the Lexus with the key out. Maybe in the future you might want to modify that area.
