That's a great link. Looks like the M45 is at least moving out the door - probably not at the clip they hoped.
Also interesting that the ES300 and LS430 sales are down a lot this year. I know they have been pushing an agressive lease package here in IL on both cars. The LS refresh this fall should help a lot and personally, I would put bigger tires on the ES300.

I went to the Infiniti dealer with a friend who was looking at the FX35 and they had a super lease offer on the M45 @ $573.00 for 39 months tax included only $1,200.00 down

Actually, that's the way TX works too. You got lucky cause in GA they tax the payments - but in TX your lease would be a lot more if it had originated there (so your tax went away). However, check with your accountant, cause I think the state of TX will ding you at the end of the year -happend when my friend moved from MO to TX. (but sometimes they don't catch you -shhhh)
Oh IL has another great thing. If you buy the car out at the end of the lease, you pay tax again. That's cause IL considers the car "sold" twice - once to say Lexus and then again to the individual at the end of the lease.

Actually, they consider it sold to the financing company. That way, if you re-lease from the same company, it is as though you are trading in your car and you get the sales tax credit - but it has to be the same finance company.
