Default My radio all of a sudden gets zero reception

I've had this car for a year now and the radio has always worked fine...

Drove to the gym today and it worked fine. After about an hour I started the car up to leave it was nothing but fuzz on every station both FM and AM. No music or anything. I tried to do a search but the radio wouldn't pick up anything, it'd just keeping looping through all the channels.

An areas I should start?

Why so? I was using the tape for an adapter to connect to my phone and music played just fine. I'm sure the CD would work too.

Can you DIY the stereo?

I would make sure the antenna cable is plugged in behind the radio.

Umm... remove the radio and see if the antenna is plugged all the way in.

The main antenna is built in on the rear window and you could have a broken element that would affect the reception.
I recently have to replace my tint and in the process of removing the old film sections of the element got damaged, and most of my stations would not get signal. I took it back to the installer and he removed the film, repaired the element and applied new tint.

If your CD player is working then you have an issues with you antenna connections. Check your tape adaptor too.
